Is syncing between iOS7 and Gmail working properly now?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had the same experience as I have while syncing iOS7 & Gmail contacts in the past. And more importantly, if anyone knows if syncing between iOS7 and Gmail working properly now?

In the past, meaning back in 2010-2011, I remember it wasnt so good. I specifically remember:

1. Making changes in one platform which didnt sync to the other

2. Making changes which resulted in multiple instances of the same contact being made on my iOS device

I remember at one point I ended up with about 500+ contacts which were duplicates...

Has anyone tried this recently, meaning since iOS7 has been out?
