7th gen Ipod - nike app quiting after 30 min...any suggestions?

Hi, a brand new 7th generation Ipod works great, except when using the nike app. the latter just quits after about 30 min. Does any one have any suggestions? your help would be much appreciated!...thanks in advance. M
