Q: On my Optimum.net email account the Ipad displays generic names such as 'Yesterday' when the email was sent instead of the actual date. Same email received on my PC shows the date. How can I correct this on my Ipad that it shows the date?

According to Optimum's advise my email account is set up properly. I looked at 'Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars" but can't find a place to make the necessary corrections on the Ipad Air.Just purchased this Ipad and I am still in the process of setting it up for my personal use. Did I overlook something? Any suggestions by anyone who is more familiar with Ipads is greatly appreciated.

I don't believe that there is a way to change this. Note that the actual date is shown in the Mail Body panel.
