how can i clear cache on my ipod touch 4th gen? my apps keep crashing.

My itouch keeps having trouble loading apps.

It is extremely slow with a long lag time to connect.

I mostly use it for a few chat apps and photos.

Some apps I cant open at all, and some will be open and then randomly kick me out.

Any suggestions on clearing memory or anything besides deleting cache and cookies from Safari???

Please help!

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.5

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

Then

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
