Mac OSX 10.6.8 yahoo & gmail reject passwords, no outgoing mail
Mac OSX 10.6.8 - yahoo and gmail, simultaneously reject correct password, therefore have no outgoing mail. What happened?

do you by any chance also have an iPad that also is connected to Mail. What you are describing happened to me when my iPad kept repeatedly trying to send mail and timed out the password. My ISP suggested it was due to a software update on my iPad. In any case they had to reset the password for me. But I notice that my iPad still cannot send mail from that account, although my desktop now can.
