When I try to watch netflix or HBO movies I get an error message that an error occurred and I need to try again later. Other functions such as you tube or yahoo connect as expected

Check istumbler or netstumbler for interference
Make sure DNS is set correctly (settings - general - network - configure DNS - automatic)
I unplugged the unit and replugged. That seems to have helped. From the old addage "If all else fails, unplug it".
That is true, usually is the first thing to try. Glad it worked out.
