Feb 1, 2014 4:22 AM in response to Nicolavc86by lllaass,Does the TV work with another device using the TV' HDMI input?
Do you have another monitor/TV that has an HDMI input to try?
Do you have another monitor/TV that has a DVI input to try?
If you purchased the Mini within the last 90 days you have free telephone support
In any event yo can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Jan 27, 2015 8:19 AM in response to Nicolavc86by Renegatus,Hi there,
I'm having the exact same issue at the moment which Apple and another vendor have been unable to fix. However, they've only tried replacing the logic board, which leads me to think this is a software issue introduced by the 10.10.1 update (which, ironically, was introduced to prevent signal loss when waking from sleep). I'm not sure if an update has been released to fix this but I'd recommend calling Apple and getting them to sort it, especially as you've only just purchased the machine.
If your display has a VGA connection, I'd ask them to provide you with the Thunderbolt/MiniDisplay to VGA adaptor.
Hope you get it sorted.
Best,
R

Mar 4, 2016 1:48 PM in response to Nicolavc86by queenfushya,Make sure the keyboard and mouse themselves are also plugged in and ready to go. I think the tv/display has to recognize some type of controller in order for anything to show up on your screen. Hope this helps anyone still searching for an answer. I just had this problem and tried many different cords and monitors thinking maybe I just had a bad connection. It turns out my wireless keyboard and mouse weren't connected to the Mac mini. As soon as I got those on, my screen came on.

Mar 5, 2016 1:41 AM in response to Nicolavc86by garyfromrio linda,I've seen this problem listed many times with Samsung TV's and the solution was to go into the inputs on the TV and relabel the input used PC.

Sep 27, 2016 2:24 AM in response to Nicolavc86by lululola,I just fixed the problem on my 2015 macbook pro courtesy of directions* here: http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/thunderbolt-to-hdmi-problems.1631182/
I had turned on Firewall and forgot about it. The next time I tried to connect HDMI I got "No signal" on monitor. But it all worked fine on my other macbook so i knew it wasn't the monitor or cable.
*The only additional thing I had to do was RESTART computer after following the directions. And I'm back in business. phew!
