I don't always get stuttering audio when playing YouTube videos, just most of the time. I can download the same YouTube video play it in iTunes with no stuttering audio. Smooth audio playback.
I receive internet through Comcast cable. It is fast. Why are most YouTube videos stuttering their audio playback, yet downloaded play normally?
iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9), 10,1-3.06 GHz Intl Core 2-12GB RAM
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.
If there's no improvement, reboot and test again.
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.
If there's no improvement, reboot and test again.

Linc, I have had to do this again this week. Do you know why it is happening? Have I turned something on that collects this data that causes the stuttering?
