Keynote is going really slow!! in the MAC and Mac book pro!
Problems with the Keynote, that´s hangs, and is going really slow, someone can help?
OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
Delete Keynote and redownload.

Keynote 6 already delete then re-download but still very slow and suddenly close when click " Open recent"
So frustrating because file not saved.
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 128 SSD
best practice when using Keynote:
an appropriate amount of RAM is installed: min 8GB
there is a minimum of 9 GB free space on all drives
there are no antivirus or so called "system cleaning" applications installed on the Mac (these are of no use in Mac OS X, they are counterproductive and are a massive drain on system performance)
there are no unnecessary applications open during Keynote when in Play
there are no files stored on the desktop
there are no unnecessary items listed in: System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items
