Just noticed when I crash into the obstacles it will crash me out of the app ( this doesn't happen on my i pad air ? Any one else having this issue and is their a fix ?

Power off your device, and then power back on.
Powering off does'nt fix it

After just persevering today it stopped crashing so much. Actually crashes very rarely now.
i fixed this issue by logging out of Game Center. Go to Settings -> Game Center -> click apple ID -> sign out
then don't log in once Game Center prompts on the game. I hope they'll fixed this soon.
As NKoma said "Go to the settings --> gamecenter --> Username --> sign out, after this is done open the flappy bird app close the login then, die once close the app (only click the home-button) and go back to the app when prompted with the login, simply login and ta-da it works, Thanks NKoma for the general idea......
