I would apreciate to know if the mixed or missing images under knte 6.01 affects someone on the 6.1 so I can keep working ...on my presentaion since keynote 5.3 under mavericks seems not to connect well with projectors....

Thanks

Keynote 6.1 is working well for me with a projector. I am only using presentations created with 6.1 so that any faults with previous versions are eliminated.

Upgrading to maverick with keynote 5.3 destroyed me unexpectedly for a very important presontation...Could not project due to VRAM issues....later found out this is an error that Apple overlooked/failed. I wish I never upgraded as the older keynote was better.

to help resolve projection issues you almost have to take the horrible upgrade to kenote 6.1...however they sucked the life out of the program and now may have to go back to powerpoint after amazing people for the past 6 years with keynote...VERY DISSASTIFIED APPLE!

Keynote 5.3 running on Snow Leopard using existing presentations is still working as well as it did this time last year for me.

Mavericks and Keynote 6.1 is running without major issues as a test project when creating new files.

Its never a good idea to switch to a new operating system or major new release of an application mid project.

I have been using my iPad mini with keynote to make slide presentations in  my classes. There has been no problem until I upgraded to Keynote 5.3. Now the refresh rate on the iPad mini is so slow and out of sync with the projected image that I was forced to not use keynote! I have 2 years of work invested that I will have to toss unless this gets fxed. I have not had this problem with this equipment/files before. Only change was upgrade to keynote 5.3. ( Some details: I connect to the projector with a  VGA cable and Apple lightining adaptor to the iPad Mini. All updates current on theiPad Mini.)  Yes I did turn on and off all equipment. And I did check all cable connections. Thanks for any help you may give!
