Just purchased new iMac 27". I want to install a Windows 7 partition using Boot Camp. Will an OEM system builder version of Windows 7 work, or will I need a full retail version (non system builder)?

Open Boot Camp Assistant in the Utilities folder. Select the option to Print out the documentation. Read it carefully before proceeding.
Either will work. The only difference between the versions is the license agreement. Don't get a branded OEM version (Dell, HP, etc.). The branded version will not work.
Thanks - I'll definitely do the reading. I like getting it right the first time.
I did see branded versions and want to stay away from that. It seems the OEM version is more readily available from retailers.
