Bug in iOS world clock not refreshing?

If I view the world clock in iOS 7 and leave to another app for a few minutes/hours, and then return to the clock app, the world clock remains at the time I last viewed it. It appears to not refresh to the latest time. The only way to update the clock is if I view something else in the clock app such as alarms etc. or tap it from digital to analog and back.

Does this happen to you?

I have 11 time zones setup.

Hi Ckuan, the issue is back. I think it's a bug. Here is another screenshot.

Steps to repeat:

1. view the world clock in digital view (I have tested with 11 clocks)

2. leave the world clock as-is and go to other apps

3. go back to the world clock after several minutes/hours without touching the clocks

If you scroll the clocks, it can refresh to the latest time. Some clocks are already refreshed. Some are at the last time viewed.

This issue can happen with or without automatically setting the time. When travelling, I turn off several features. I noticed this when I nearly missed a meeting and quoted a time incorrectly.

I've been able to repeat the issue on another iPhone 5. Perhaps this is a rare bug. However, if you need to manage various time zones for work or for travel and use the world clock frequently by going in and out between other applications, you might experience this. The only fix, albeit temporary, is to restart the iPhone as Ckuan has suggested or perhaps use a 3rd party world clock.

Attached, you'll notice Brisbane Australia is out of sync with the other clocks. The minutes is stuck at 14. By tapping alarms and going back or by changing to analog and back will refresh the digital clock.

Hope this is fixed in 7.1. Feedback has already been sent to Apple. Was curious if anyone else has ever encountered this.

Reducing the number of clocks appears to fix this.

If there are more than 11 clocks, or perhaps beyond the screen, it can be repeated.

A few ways I've been able to repeat this on other iPhones is to add clocks, set to digital display, look at the bottom of the list, without scrolling the clocks switch between apps and homescreen several times and going back to the home screen and tapping the clock icon some of the clocks minutes are frozen.

The only solution so far is to have about 6 clocks or so where scrolling is not required to view them.
