My accelerometer/gyroscope seems to be off/malfunction

When I play Asphalt 8 racing game, I have to tilt the ipod touch 5g so much, it doesn't make sense. When I tilt the device, the car won't turn all the way. I think there's a malfunction because I turned the accelerometer/gyro sensitivity all the way up, and it still isn't sensitive enough. Thanks

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Delete the app and reinstall it.

- Contact the app developer

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device via iTunes.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Illass suggested all the things (exactly like above):
