Unfortunately it's not 64 bit AU compatible, and who knows it ever will be? So many people are waiting for it.

Email the developer and make it clear that you've paid/or are waiting to buy and are now waiting for the 64 bit AU version, it won't hurt to put more pressure on them.

There's a few workarounds however, personally i like the 32 lives solution which is to wrap the 32 bit plugin as 64 bit so it works with logic x, you can buy their software here:- 32 Lives - Sound Radix

I've only used the 32 Lives demo, and it done a really good job - But can't give an opinion how it works after hours of use, seemed pretty solid to me though.

Alternatives, have to say that there's tons out there, but none really have that 'sylenth1' sound completely, in my experience Reveal Sound's Spire is really good - But quite CPU hungry. I've heard XILS-Lab Oxium is good too, but not tried it.

Plus of course all the usual suspects: Zebra, Z3TA+, Massive etc. etc.

If you're just starting out Sonic Academy's ANA may good for you, it's affordable plus there's tons of tutorials out there for developing sounds with it. In fact, if you subscribe to their online courses you get it really cheap. I think it's important, if you're a bedroom producer to support companies like this as they're your bread and butter before you make millions! 😉

Out of curiosity, What sounds were you wanting to use Sylenth1 for?
