What's "best quality"?
There are millions of shots on the internet less that 300kb that are excellent quality.
For help accessing your photos in iPhoto see this user tip:

The answer to your question is to select the photo in iPhoto and export as a TIFF which gives you the best quality (and a totally ridiculous file size - but that is the answer to your question)
I strongly suspect that you do not really want or need the best quality images for your blog but if you really do then that is the way

See? That's the catch. A Tiff will give you the largest file, but is that the best quality?
Thank you
thank you
Well for the photo in iPhoto it is the best - is the source image best - may, maybe not - but since a TIFF gives you every possible bit of what is there you can not get "better" than that
But in any case I suspect that the OP did not really want the "best" - but if not I have no idea what they do want - they seem sastisfied with what they got

I have found that my images are oten blurry when transferred. Best meaning not blurry.
How are you transferring?
What size are the images (in pixels)?
Are they blurry in iPhoto? If so then you need better photos - if Not what pixel dimensions are then? What size are you viewing them that they are blurry?
Select a non- blurry photo in iPhoto and export it to the deaktop as a high quality JPEG and theen view it in Preview - It should still be fine - then add to youry blog - if it goes blurry then it is the blog software doing it

Thank you. How do I get it from Preview to where I can export it?
When I used Picassa, it enabled me to choose pixel size. My blog need 700 or higher for good quality. It is unfortunate, but maybe I have to go back to Picassa. I don't know how to use iPhoto properly. I will read your articles and maybe it will help.
I am transferring to Blogger and having trouble.
Thank you.
