Run Safari In Kiosk Mode And Restrict It To One Domain

Hi.

I have a requirement to display only one website in full-screen mode on iPad in kiosk mode.

How can I display just one website in Safari? i.e. restrict browsing to just one domain.

If the iPad is running iOS 7, there's a Websites setting in the Restrictions where you can enter in the web sites you wish to allow. All others should then be inaccessible. Then set Safari as the app to run in Guided Access:

Note, however, that Safari has no "home page" as such, so if you want that one site to load automatically, you may need to look into a third-party web browser. Several are available in the iTunes Store.

Regards.

Hi,

I think I have the solution for you, check out this free app for the ipad:

http://www.spartakioskpro.com/apps/kiosks

Basically it allows you to specify the website you wish to have run full screen and lock the app so the users cannot escape the content you are showing on the website. The app name pretty much gives it away - it makes a website a kiosk per say and much more - check it out it is free.

Hope it helps.
