New AC router, new MBair, not picking up AC signal?

I found this post and followed the instructions:

Here is a shot of what I see:

User uploaded fileBut when I go to the system info, I see that I do have an AC card. The router is brand new (got it today special delivery from Comcast, (THANK YOU GOOGLE FIBER FOR ADDING COMPETITION!) so I know I have all the AC stuff, but for some reason my computer doesn't grab the AC signal from the router (which is also the modem)

There is nothing in the User Guide that tells me that this Cisco product is "ac" capable, nor can I find any other specifications that indicate that it has "ac" capability.

The specifications below indicate 802.11a/b/g/n capabilities. I see no "ac" listed.

Do you have some other specifications to indicate that this model has "ac" capability?

wow.... the tech kept talking about AC telling me how our devices couldn't even pick it up and how "for the first time the routers are ahead of the wireless cards" and ironically my laptop has AC and the router doesn't.

called comcast to confirm, and they do in fact NOT have any routers that support AC. So I have to buy my own... looks like im gunna get an airport extreme.

thanks! sorry to waste your time 🙂
