My iPod nano was washed in washing maching, I have dried it with hairdryer & hooked it up to charge. There is no activity, will it ever work again.

Hard to say.
Do not try to power it on.
Submerge it in a bag of rice for at least 48 hrs.
This will absorb the moisture in the device.
