My iMac is causing the ping rate to be so high that my AT&T Microcell will not work with our iPhones. We have 2 iPhones, 2 MacBooks, 1 PC laptop, and 1 PC desktop. There was not a problem until I connected to iMac. I've tried changing channels, different IP addresses, rebooting the modem. I have a Netgear 7550 modem and an Apple router. I'm exhausted with this. I've spent 8 to 10 hours on the phone with AT&T and finally talked to a tech that asked me to do a ping rate test.
