what is the program "ticket viewer" used for?
I stumbled on the ticket viewer program when I was using keychain. Where can I find more information on what this progam does and how to use it?

A little deeper search found this:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4271
the article shows the path of how to find the app. Do you have FileVault on?
This is a screenshot of the top part of my Keychain Access window:
I could find no mention of a Ticket Viewer anywhere. And, just because it is listed there, it does not make it part of the OS - it simply means that Keychain is storing some info re. that app. I have listings in there for any/all apps I've entered passwords for.
Try a Google search....that is nothing that is delivered with a Mac.
Here, I did it for you:

Thank you. It actually is part of Keychain Access. If you click on "Keychain Access" it is the second option below Keychain First Aid. Selecting the option opens a program called Ticket Viewer. I was just curius, but I guess I shouldn't mess around with things I don't understand!
