Displaying best pictures from Aperture in Apple TV

Has anyone been able to display just certain pictures in an Aperture library Project through Apple TV?

We rate our pictures after we import the into a project and edit them in Aperture. Typically, we may take over 1,000 pictures in a trip, but after rating them, we would only like to share our best pictures (we rate those as 5), which can be 80 - 100 pictures; we still keep the ~1,000 pictures in the project. We can easily share those best pictures with friends and family through Apple Photo stream if they use Apple devises or Smugmug if they are in a Windows or Android platforms.

Now, we would like to display these best pictures in the Apple TV in our den using the big TV screen, but iTunes (through Home Sharing) only allows the sharing of the full project(s) in the library. We have not found a way to only share the picutres filtered by rating (rated 5) or to share those Photo streams previously created.

Loading all those pictures in iCloud does not seem practical to us as we would still like to segregate the Photo streams/projects. We alo tried mirroring using Airplay, but then we cannot use the mobile devise (iphone or ipad) for other things.

We greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you!
