My calendar doesn't show up in the icloud, how come? It's on my iPad and iPhone, appointments are not syncing.

I'm setting up a new 5C, want to make sure my calendar transfers over. Doesn't show up in the icloud site, no appointments. What am i missing?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4

Make sure you are entering events on an iCloud calendar, and not the On My iPhone (iPad) calendar or on a calendar from an external account such as Gmail (Google), Yahoo, or and exchange account. Only your iCloud calendar will sync with iCloud.
