iTunes update error messages (SOLUTION?)

After updating itunes I received an error message about mobile devices and a windows error123 (sometimes 126).

Tried apple discussions but no solution. went to windows and there where some helpful hints there.

Delete (from control Panel) all apple programs, such as mobile systems, QTime Bonjour iTunes etc

Then delete any folder on computer relating to these programs

Re-boot computer, download new iTunes via Explorer (Google chrome seemed to present same problems)

start new iTunes and all is ok
