I had roughly the same error. I fixed it by running the iCloud control panel update from apple software update. The problem cropped up after I ran the most recent iTunes update, I've personally been having issues with iTunes updates being finicky since upgrading to Windows 8.1, I've had to download installers rather than running the update directly through Software Update, so it's possible Apple is not fully addressing compatibility issues for newer versions of Windows. Ultimately it seems to be a missing file issue, so any update, installer, or install verification/repair that directly addresses the iCloud files should see and replace the missing file.

Also it looks like Apple is either unaware of this problem or not addressing it at all, there are about a dozen support requests from within the last month all asking this same question regarding iCloud, just with different specific files unable to be found. None of them have answers.

    Hopefully this works for you

Good morning.  You said:  "I fixed it by running the iCloud control panel update from apple software update."

I don't know how to do that.  I'm in the iCloud page in Apple Support but don't spot the control panel update.

    Thanks.

Hello.  If you open iTunes, then click Help->Check for Updates, you'll see the iTunes and iCloud Control Panel updates available.  At least I did.  Select both and run the update.  You should be all set.

    Hi

Might be thick here but when I open Itunes there is no obvious help button.

I have had the "procedure entry point_objc_init_image could not be located..." message since the update made several weeks ago.

Would really want to fix it now.

    thanks

I got this error with the Icloud Control Panel version 2.1.2 on my Vista system.  If you have the same scenario, you must delete the 2.1.2 version using the 'Programs and Features' in the control panel.  (the repair does not work).  Then install version 2.1.3.  Reboot.  This should work.

Thank you very much for your help. I have now installed the new version of icloud control pannel and my PC (Vista) no longer makes this awful sound and no sign of the error messages either.

Thanks for your help.  This worked for me, but I couldn't do it through check for updates.  I had to go to the iCloud control panel download link on the apple site and download from scratch.
