I just installed the lastest version of iTunes on my WinXP computer. Not an easy task, as I had error messages that caused me to completely uninstall all of itunes and reinstall.
Ever since the (successful)reinstall my firewall has been repeatedly tellling me something called 'YSLoader.exe' is requesting access to the internet.
What is this file, and what does it do? Is it safe?

YSLoader is the service which connects ur device to itunes when its connected. Apple Mobile Device Service. u can check at services
so ysloader is part of Apple Mobile Device Services?
yup. u can use ur task manager and check the services. i dont think theres another apple mobile device service. i've checked mine and thats the only 1
I have windows 8.1 on 64 bit. After updating to 7.0.5 my iphone 5S cannot complete sync-ing. The sync goes on and on.
Ok, but why it uses 25% of CPU time (i think because this **** doesnt know how to burn rest 3 cores of my CPU) and 100% of network bandwidth when even NO APPLE DEVICES CONNECTED? )))
My CPU was at 98% Utilization and YSLOADER.EXE was the only thing getting any cpu!!! Why?
