Q: How can I get recovery disc for Mac Os x 10.4.11

Which exact iBook model is it?

Which recovery disc (or discs) you need depends on the exact model of iBook you have. According to what you have posted, it could be any of these models:

Find more information about your computer in the System Profiler. (Finder > Applications > Utilities > System Profiler.)

When we can figure out which exact model you have, then we can look for the system-specific discs you need. If you're having problems with your optical drive, though, the discs may not help.

If all you need to do is reset the password, a full commercial version of Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) may do what you need.

There is a slight conflict of identity among three sources.

Two say it was made in week 29 July 2005. Each shows

it as a different Family (A1054 vs A1055)

Hello Rhonda

I am back and with a good news I was able to get rid off the original Administrator ID so I am the new Administrator in this computer and be able to update some applications such as Safari browser. I was able to get the Installation disc MacOS X Tiger to reset completely the computer to where it needed to be. Also I have ibookG4 disc 1 and 2 and the last one it says additional software and apple hardware test so I am wondering if I should install those disc too or leave it alone. I have Safari Version 3.0.4 (523.12) and I tried to download a newer version of Safari to 4.1.3  and I was not allow because it says I need to get a security update 2009-005 then I went to apple web site and they do not provide that to download and I do not know why. All I want is update Safari so I can check better e-mails and enjoy other sites.. If you have information of Where to go to get those security updates 2009-005 and if you think I should continue with the other discs please let me know, perhaps these discs provide those security codes and necessary drives to make this computer work descent.
