New iCloud Terms and Conditions?

Hi,

Both my phone and my wife's phone are now showing the dialog:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/69342090/whatthe.png

New iCloud Terms and Conditions

To use iCloud on this iPhone you

must accept the new Terms and

Conditions.

Not Now ---- View Terms

If I click on View Terms all that happens is it opens the settings with no sign of any terms and conditions that I can accept.

I can't find any terms and conditions settings or sections in any of the Settings to do with iCloud, Mail or anything else

so I can't accept them so every time now I or my wife start Mail we get this pointless dialog which is now, after the 100th time

becoming quite annoying.

This is obvilousy a bug as it should when clicking on the View Terms opton take me to the Terms, it does not and I can't find them.

Can anyone please tell me how to get this annoying dialog to dissapear for ever.

Thanks

I've had thos problem for days now it affect my dioary my business emails and all my syncing capabilities beteween my various devices.

How can Apple create an update which is impossible to accept and them leave its customers in the lurch for days??

I find it hard to believe... may just buy Samsung phones instead of investing my Company in Apple....

Right after the Genius person upgraded my iPhone 4 (to version 7.0.4) last week, I immediately began getting hundreds of that same pop-up request to accept iCloud's terms, etc.

('Scuse the caps for a sec, but IT REALLY IS SO, SO ANNOYING!!!). Anyway, 2 things:

Does anyone have updated or specific intel on next steps after deleting/recreating your account (neither of which I've yet been brave enough to try; see below) doesn't solve the problem?

Will I lose some things forever if I delete/recreate my account, some of which can be important (my bookmarks, for example, or folders and browsing history--to say nothing of hundreds of sites that automatically fill in my passwords and most of the info)?

From what I can tell here, a lot of you have the same issues and remain in the same irritating limbo, haplessly swatting the pop-ups all day--just as I do! As such, I guess I'm hoping the incessant barrage drove even one of you to nail the solution(s)--and then tell us what to do!!

Many thanks, in advance, for any help.

My warranty has expired so I do not get any support unless I pay. Been advised to go back to the previous version of the software from a backup. Too techy for me to do, dont want to risk losing everything so I have no choice but to still get annoyed with these messages and hope Apple take this a bit seriously and fix the bug. Sorry to hear its messed up your synching.

So I went to see apple - he checked my iCloud Apple ID was check if verified which it was. We performed a full shut down first and then he deleted the account. He signed onto iCloud using his id and there was an option to accept terms and conditions but it crashed. He told me to do a complete reset after backup but I then signed back into my id And I no longer get the message. No idea why it fuses the message but I no longer get it any more,

So sign in with newly created verified Apple ID to see if you see the terms and conditions and then sign back into your own id. This did it for me but failing this reset to factory settings. I didn't bother as it works but I hope that helps anyone that still getting that annoying message.

I had this exact same problem on my iPhone 5 after I'd upgraded to iOS 8.1. Got the screen that gave me "Not Now" and "View Terms" options. Tapping View Terms took me to the iCloud Settings page - no terms to agree to.

I found the solution: Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap on every iCloud account. See if there's a blue link "Terms and Conditions" and tap on it, then scroll to the bottom and agree.

My problem is that I'd accepted the iCloud terms and conditions for my primary Apple ID (which is setup on the Settings > iCloud page). But I also have a mail account setup using my secondary Apple ID.

It took me 3 days of ignoring it, perhaps a half-hour wasted trying to find the terms and conditions, and perhaps another half-hour searching this forum and the web. I found this answer somewhere.

Oh. My God. Thankyou!

I was going insane. Apple hasn't bothered to think through whether or not you have multiple iCloud accounts on your phone. It just shows the same dumb message if even one of them hasn't agreed to the new T&Cs. I have a couple of iCloud accounts (one for me, one for the family's shared data) and it was the family one, the one I barely really use, that hadn't agreed. But whenever I hit the button to View Terms it always took me to the account that *had* agreed, hence no Terms to agree to.

Apple are dumb as a box of rocks sometimes.
