Unable to connect to WPA2 after Mavericks update

Since upgrading to Mavericks I have been unable to connect to my university wi-fi.

It is not a problem with the wi-fi as all my friends with Windows (or older versions of OSX) are able to connect.

While others appear to have an issue detecting WPA2 Enterprise networks, I can see them, merely not connect to them.

I can connect to other wi-fi points perfectly just not WPA2 Enterprise.

Generally I just get a unable to connect error, however when viewing the conencting process in system settings, it appears to be an authentication problem.

My University wi-fi uses PEAP and MSCHAPv2, on my android phone I can specify these and that works perfectly, on mac however I can only use the 'automatic' preferences, perhaps this is the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can upload the wireless diagnostics file if that helps too.

Thanks
