upgrade RAM on Mac Mini 2012

I'm thinking of upgrading the RAM on my Mac Mini late 2012. It has 4GB installed, (2x2GB) but I'm hoping to be running Photoshop and think it will be a bit slow.

I've sourced the correct RAM from ebuyer and know how to change the RAM.

But I was thinking of gettting one 8GB RAM. Could I also instal one of the 2GB RAM in the other slot? Or do I need a matched pair?

A matched pair will allow the Mac to access memory a little faster because dual-channel is used.

Just make sure that the seller says it is compatible with the Mini and y can return it if not compatible.

The photo of your memor looks different that the photo in the USA Crucial site that say compatible with the Mini
