I Record a 1 minute video and the memory of that video is 200MB sometimes 700MB. I have 32 videos and 59 pictures and the total usage is 7.6GB. My partner has a iPhone 5 16GB, she has over 100 videos and over 700 pictures her total usage is 4GB. How is this possible.

Photos taken with the phone and being inside the Camera Roll take more space than if they are imported to the computer and synced back using iTunes. Also, pictures taken in HDR can be bigger than the usual format.
Did you already connect to your computer and see if your "other" section on the phone is bigger than 2GB? If yes, unreadable files are using space on your device as well.
Record videos on my 16gb 4s but memory is too much! HELP PLEASE
