Hi may mbpr's warranty run out a couple of weeks ago. Can I still ger apple care?
And if not what are my others option?

when I checked my serial number it said that the purchase date was still valid. Does this mean I can purchase AppleCare?

You are free to try visiting an Apple store and see what they say, but your best option is probably to see if you have something like home owner's insurance that will cover it.
There should be no question if you are still within the 1 yr coverage and therefore still eligible for the extended warranty.
If the home owners insurance cover it were dose it go to get fixed?

Any repair or service should only be done by an Apple store technician or an Apple Authorized Service Provider since Apple will refuse all future help if an unauthorized person works on the unit.
You said you were going to go to an Apple store tomorrow and talk to them, take it in and see what they say. They will determine if you are elligible or not for AppleCare coverage.
We are all fellow users and not Apple employees so cannot speak for Apple.

no I cant do that I just have the valid purchase date. However I just reading something. That said if you do have valid purchase date you can buy AppleCare
