My right click isn't working

A few days ago i was playing a video game to realise i couldn't right click and i was using a mouse, so i switched my mouse to an older one to realise it still isn't right clicking. then i used my trackpad and still my right click won't work. i called apple and they said they couldn't help me since my waranty expired. so what i did is that i formated my mac and yet still it just happened again!! can someone please please help me like as soon as possible please.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Make sure you check your mouse settings in System Preferences as well as the trackpad.

I check the setting about a million times and i don't think this video aplies to me please please try to find me a way i am trying soo hard

If you do not want to try the suggestions I listed including the one I linked, I suggest that you take your MBP down to your local AS or an AASP. Diagnostic testing is free.

If you are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare, call them. Let them deal w/it.

If you want the right click to work on your trackpad, do the following:

System Preferences

Trackpad

Tick the box that says 'Secondary click'.

Underneath this is a dropdown bar that normally says 'click or tap with two fingers'. Change this to 'Click in bottom right corner'.

You will then be able to use right click.
