Downgrading and 4 Internal Harddrives

I have a Mac Pro 2011 With 1 SSD and 3 Sata Hardrives.

My Question: If i am downgrading OS X, Do i have to back up only my main hardrive SSD or all Harddrives?

The 3 Sata HHDS i have are only to store pictures, music.

Just want to know if i have to back up all Harddrives before Dowgrading.

Itss a total of 8 TB i have to restore if i do, so i wantto make sure its a MUST.

i can remove the 3 HHDS except the SSD. idk if removing them and downgrading would work?

HELP

thanks

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Only the system is of interest.

As to why and what you hope to do or accomplish...

When using an SSD, always have a restore system image, and always use TRIM with any non-Apple brand SSD. Then you do need to boot from another drive and run DU Disk Repair (Lion Recovery won't work, it does but lacks TRIM support).

Clone the SSD no matter what.

You don't have Apple 5770 do you?

You want to go to Snow Leopard? need Rosetta? you can run SL in a VM to bring back Rosetta support.

What model year is this? any model can run SL.

An SSD does take a few extra tips in setting up, moving user account (most files anyway), having extra free space, and will slow down if you don't install and enable TRIM.
