Q: iPod touch 3 with ios 5.1.1 and bluetooth pairing with Bose Soundlink

I have an iPod touch ( 3 with iOS 5.1.1 ) and I can't pair using Bluetooth to my Bose Soundlink mini speaker.

Is there a different version of Bluetooth not included in my iOS?

What BT profiles does the Bose unit need? This is what is supported by iOS devices:

iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles

Try:

- Resetting the Bose unit

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
