Everytime I try to open Itunes I get ab erroe message saying that " an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly" This pop-up box has a heading of Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Libraryand declares a " runtime error" Help

I followed the instructions here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to uninstall itunes completely and it worked. Good luck

I actually solved the issue myself. In my prior attempts, I was only un-installing iTunes from the Control Panel. This time I un-installed everything Apple: ITunes, QuickTime, and any software application that was from Apple.

Once I removed all of the Apple software and re-downloaded iTunes, everything worked perfectly.
