Nov 4, 2015 6:41 AM in response to Fellowhipby Fellowhip,Hi guys,
So, I recently converted a video file (PAL 25frames per second, full HD file, ProresHQ) to a NTSC 720 x 480 29.97 frames per second.
I now need to get it on the dvd! I can get the video on there but the sound was obviously converted to match the new retimed picture, but as a separate file which I can't seem to get on the dvd as well.
Would you happen to know how I can get both the Dolby Digital ac3 file and video file on dvd together sync'd?
Thank you in advance to anyone that can help!

Nov 4, 2015 6:51 AM in response to Fellowhipby Russ H,If you require full featured menus, you will need a separate authoring application – say Roxio Toast, Adobe Encore, or the discontinued iDVD (which is still available from on-line retailers as part of the boxed iLife suite. If you can get by with basic menus, use the Compressor built-in Create DVD preset and skip the separate authoring software. (Note: if you get iDVD, just output a self contained QuickTime file and let iDVD do the encoding and authoring; it will not work with the MPEG-2 format.
