Q: We have had our Apple TV for 13 months. We have 30mgbs down and 5mgbs up. Our wireless signal shows full bars on the Apple TV settings. Our shows are all buffering very bad this week. Is a service charge really necessary?

Apple TV is 13 months old and having a hard time staying connected. WiFi Internet speeds are 30/5 tested on a laptop 3 feet from the Apple TV device.

    Was your connection verified via speedtest.net?

     

    The signal shown on ATV does not give the full picture. Go check istumbler or netstumbler to see an accurate report of your network, and verify if there's any interference.

     

    Make sure your DNS is set correctly (settings - general - network - configure DNS - automatic)
