I received an itunes update. I tried to install it. There is a message stating that it did not install correctly. I tried to open my iTunes on my desktop icon and it won't open - giving me the same message. Please help? Thank you Connie

I have a error message that says the iTunes update did not download properly and I can no longer open my iTunes icon on my desktop. Any suggestions?
