I try to reinstall Mac Os ,but can not format my partition
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
If your Mac shipped with OS X 10.7 or later preinstalled, or if it's one of the computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery, you may be able to netboot from an Apple server by holding down the key combination command-option-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe. You should then be able to partition the drive.
Otherwise, you'll have to boot from another local drive.
That screenshot shows a disk with 1 partition (the partition is called Mac)
What do you want? you can't have less than one partition.
Oh it's my mistake , I mean I don't want a partition😁
I only want "320.07 Gb Hitachi..."
That's the drive. When you partition it, all data in all partitions will be removed. You can then install OS X and restore whatever you want from a backup.
You mean I need to have at least one partition?
Unless you don't want any files on the drive yes, you need one (or more) partitions.
Haha I still want to use my computer.
Thank you very much , you guys all kind person🙂
You're welcome
