My iPhone has a group called "On My iPhone." I did not know of this feature until now, and I thought all my contacts would be synced to iCloud. I have put all my important phone numbers in this group, and I have been looking for another way to sync these contacts to iCloud.

Move them to the iCloud group, then set the iCloud account as the default account.

Hmmm, that would work, but in iOS you can't manage the groups and such, how would I do that exactly?
Turn Contacts off, then on again, take the option to merge.
