More of a reason why your iTunes library on your computer should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data - documents, photos, etc.

The iPhone is not a backup device.

There are some 3rd party utilities that provide for transfering music that was not purchased from the iTunes Store from an iPhone along with photos on the iPhone that were transferred from your computer. Keep in mind that photos on the iPhone that were transferred from your computer were optimized for viewing on the iPhone - the original resolution of the photos was reduced. The original resolution of these photos will be lost in the process.

No backup for your old computer that includes your iTunes library?

If not, this means you lost everything on the old computer - documents and photos?

iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iOS device, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes Store only.

First you need to authorize your new computer with your Apple ID with iTunes if you haven't already done so.

With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.

So if I have no computer backup that's means I've lost everything?

No. Copied from my previous post.
