Greyed out, Unplayable Tracks (not muted)

So this has happened several times in the last few days and forced me to stop working (which is the most frustrating bit). My tracks will randomly turn grey (not muted) please do not tell me to hit ^M or turn off muting. It's not that. It's also not the end marker. Any help? Thanks. Here's a screencapUser uploaded file

This is a "unique to LPX" thing, the tracks are toggled off. One way to tell is the regions will have a dot to the left of the region name if they are muted. No dot, no track mute = track toggled off.

The US default key command for this is option-M. You can also 'configure track header' (right click or bottom of track menu) and show the button.
