Q: i have purchased a TV series and if seems to start ok then freeze to buffer

I have purchased a I tunes TV series and it seems to start and play for a few minutes then freezes and buffs Any ideas I am playing it through Apple TV

Apple TV (3rd generation), Mac OS X (10.5.8)
