Trouble getting back flash space after deleting win8 partition.

Hey, i had a windows partition of about 70 gigabytes and i became aggrivated (because windows 8) so i deleted it. after i deleted it, i cant access any of the space i had previously. i used the mac partition software to create and delete, nothing sketchy happened. i have a 256gb flash storage and a 2012 MBPr. under "storage" i labels the hard drive as a 256gb flash storage drive but only tells me that i have 170gb availible. i have tried backing up and restarting to factory settings with no luck. any ideas?
