I can't export on iMovie for ipad

So I recorded some clips on my nikon camera and uploaded them to my computer. Since those files were in .avi I used a converter to make the clips compatible with iTunes/ my ipad. Then I uploaded the videos to my ipad through itunes. So on imovie 2.0 on my ipad I edited the videos, the whole thing was video with music from my music on my ipad and the whole video was 4:31 minutes long. I am trying to export the video to youtube but it just doesnt start loading AT ALL. It doesnt even show a error message it just doesn't load start loading. I left it uplaoding over night and it still didnt even begin to export. I really dont know what to do at this point. I just think its weird because I've done all this before i just dont know why its not exporting now. Does any one have any idea what is wrong?
