I have an I4 that is not connected to a cellular network. Can I use wifi to stream radio? All the aps I have looked at seem to need a cellular connection, but I want to make use of my old phone to plug into my stereo. I have good quality wi-fi available, so why not make use of both?
Any one with any ideas?

If the phone is working of of your Wi-Fi network you can indeed stream radio using Wi-Fi.

I would have thought so too. I know I can use safari and connect to a radio station directly to stream, but I had wanted to do it using an app. That way I could "change stations" and find the music I wanted to listen to.
Does anyone know of an app that will work on wi-fi only?

I installed Pandora but no sound.
I think it may be because iTunes upgraded the firmware to OS7.04, and maybe this is too much for an I4.
I am now trying to roll back.
The device should work with Pandora with wi-fi. Also, you will not be able to "roll back" with iOS. Once you have installed the latest iOS on the device, it is there to stay. Apple does not support the downgrading of iOS.
