I'm syncing contacts off 3GS to itunes. Is it suppose to take along time ?

Im going from 3GS to a 5s. I'm syncing my contacts on iTunes. It's been syncing for 2 hours. Still not done.

iPhone 3GS (8GB), iOS 3.1.3
