Q: Unable to watch purchased tv series on iPad

I purchased seasons of a tv series to my iPad but I can't download and watch them. I keep getting a message telling me I don't have enough storage available. I have however just recently purchased more storage and it hasn't solved my problem. Thanks

iCloud space is only for backup.

You need more local storage; free up space on iPad:

Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.

Also look at the possibility of downloading TV series to iTune (computer)
