iTunes does not stay connected to Bose Soundlink Air

Hi all,

I've a problem playing the music from iTunes to my Bose Soundlink Air. This problem happens always since before the update to Mavericks.

Problem:

the Bose Soundlink Air is visible in the Airplay speakers menu of iTunes, but it's always greyed out. To stream music to it, I need to click on it every time, even if this device is my main playback speaker and it's always selected as speaker for iTunes.

If I click on it, I can stream. If I put the Mac in sleep, or if I don't play music from iTunes for some minutes, the Soundlink Air turns again in grey.

Of course, if I try to playback while it's grey, iTunes reports an error (speaker not connected).

Do you have any idea of what could be the problem?

Thanks.

System:

iMac 27 late 2013, Core i7 3.5 Ghz, 32Gb RAM, Fusion Drive.

OSX Mavericks 10.9.1 (but this issue hapened also with 10.8.x)

iTunes 11.1.4 (62)

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), late 2013, Core i7 3.5 Ghz 32GB RAM
